Sonic's universe is thrown into chaos when a mysterious new enemy uses a special kind of power to erase time and space, causes the appearance of multiple "time holes", forcing Sonic and his friends back in time. It celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game and will be released by Sega on November 22, 2011.
Sonic Generations is an upcoming 2011 platform video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, currently in production by Sonic Team for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo 3DS.
